Derritek provided project engineering services to interactive media group Engage Works, and strategic design brand agency StartJG, who have recently collaborated to create Dubai's first technology innovation lounge.
Occupying a suite on the 20th floor of the Arenco Tower in Dubai's Media City, the "Flux Innovation Lounge", is a unique space where visitors can experience how interactive technology can enhance communication experiences for today's biggest brands. It is built to drive insights and knowledge, to stimulate invention and to expose for the first time how the latest high-tech can affect all businesses and our working lives today and in the future.
Our responsibility was to specify and procure the hardware systems throughout the lounge and refine the system design. We carried-out a pre-build site survey to establish the structural alterations required to the designated space, and to enable the provision of the finalised system schematics, CAD plans and cable schedules to the local building contractors. We also managed the site build and system deployment ready for the pre-planned launch date and system handover.
